I use Firefox and Avira Free Security. Sometimes adult advertising appears. This is a bug from the adnetwork, must be reported. With Firefox advertising is less invasive. Virus warnings are "false positives" from the stupid browser or antivirus or because you don't select the corresponding file.
The advertising is necessary for the long life of the blog.
